Ai at the university - an invitation to an international project

Dear students,

you are cordially invited to participate in a Dutch-Polish project on setting academic standards for the sustainable use of artificial intelligence in student work

entitled „Eerlijk gebruik van kunstmatige intelligentie bij natuurwetenschappelijke opdrachten van internationale studenten”

(Fair use of artificial intelligence in scientific assignments of international students)

in the frame of Virtuele Internationale Samenwerkingsprojecten 2023 grant.

Project goal: to regulate the contentious points of using of Ai in student work (from lab course reports to theses) so that students can exclusively develop their skills with its help

Project timeframe: September 2023 - January 2024

Form of the project: (simplifying) project within the students’ scientific association

Who can participate: 12 students from the University of Twente (2nd and 3rd year Bachelor and Master students) and 12 students from the Poznan University of Technology (2nd and 3rd year Bachelor and Master students)

How we all participate in the project: regular virtual meetings (Teams) having a form of discussion, exchange of thoughts and experiences. Small assignments are planned.

When we meet: We meet on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. (Teams link will be sent later) on the following days for about 1 hour (8 x 1h + time needed for the assessments at home, around 15h in total):

  • Sept. 12th and 26th
  • Oct. 24th
  • Nov. 7th and 21st
  • Dec. 5th and 19th
  • Jan. 16th

What will you gain?
