Do you want to play a key role for ET in policy and decision making, advocacy and enhancing our social and academic environment? Then run for election to the Faculty Council! 

The Faculty Council is a participation body that represents the interests of both students and staff within the Faculty of Engineering Technology. By participating in our Faculty Council, you can actively contribute to shaping the future of our faculty and the quality of education and research we stand for. You can influence change, develop skills in leadership and expand your network. 

Timeline

We have listed a few important moments:

  • Register as candidate: until Tuesday 14 April, 12.00
  • Election period: Monday 15 June 09.00 until Friday 19 June 12.00
  • Decision by Executive Board: Tuesday 30 June

How to apply?

Send a completed preparedness statement to facultyoffice-et@utwente.nl by Tuesday, April 14, 12:00 PM, with fc-et@utwente.nl and r.m.soudant@utwente.nl in cc.

The Faculty Office, in collaboration with the Faculty Council, will compile a list of candidates, ensure that the list is endorsed (by FR staff and student members), and send it to the UT election committee.

If you participate as a candidate in the election for the Faculty Council of ET, you will receive more information regarding the process leading up to the election period. The Central Election Committee of the UT organizes the elections.
