The lunch lecture will be about a complex expansion of the sunken highway which is part of the ring road of Utrecht. The presentation explores how an important road can be expanded without closing the highway while also minimising the impact to its surroundings. Rijkswaterstaat is solving this problem by considering technical options. 

This lunch lecture is open for everyone but having some background knowledge of soil mechanics is recommended.
