On February the 20st of 2023 Van Hattum en Blankevoort – part of VolkerWessels – organize an excursion to a multidisciplinary project in execution: Spoorzone Ede. This project consists of an existing railway station within the city of Ede which will be renewed. It is a complex project, since there is a lot of infrastructure around it. Van Hattum en Blankevoort is responsible for the design and construction of the civil structures. Together with VolkerRail and Van Wijnen they realize this project on behalf of ProRail and the municipality of Ede. At site there are multiple civil structures under construction right now. Each of them are totally different from each other. To build this structures, multiple construction methods are used. At the excursion we will give some information about these methods and have a look at the construction site. We will gather at 12:30 at the Achterhorst.
