Do you want to help out in organising the Concrete Canoe Race in Enschede again?
The Concrete Canoe Race or BKR in Dutch is an event that occur every year at a different city in the Netherlands. In the weekend of 10 May 2024, The Concrete Canoe Race will be organised in Enschede again for the first time since 2017. In the Concrete Canoe Race different teams for different Universities race against each other in their own custom built concrete canoes. The event takes place over 3 days: on Friday the teams arrive and the technical inspection of the canoes is held and in the evening there will be a party. On Saturday the races are held throughout the whole day and in the evening there will be another party. On Sunday all the teams will leave again. In order to organise this event, the committee is looking for activist to help them out in the weekend of the event itself.
