Workshop AT Osborne: Project management workshop ‘SOBON-line’

During recent years AT Osborne was involved in quite a few large rail infrastructure projects in the Netherlands such as the expansion of Utrecht Central Station, the construction of the Amstelveen tram line and the construction of the North/South metro line. Managing these project requires adequate project control information. During our workshop we will challenge you to facilitate effective decision making by the SOBON-line project team. We will let you fulfill the role of Project Control Manager and take responsibility for the scope, planning, risks and finances of the project. During the workshop we will also share our lessons learned in managing large infrastructure projects.

Workshop Mourik:

The Dutch infrastructure is mainly build during the sixties, seventies and eighties. This infrastructure is at the end of is lifespan or is not suitable anymore for the current use. In the coming years this infrastructure needs to be changed, renovated or replaced. This is a big task which asks about a different approach. The current way of working, in combination with the capacity that is available for authorities and the working field, cannot handle the large demand. One of the solutions is a different way of working together and a lot of experiments are being done with this at the moment. However, what does this ask of our organization? And what does this ask of the people working in these organization?

In this workshop these forms of cooperation are treated and the participants are asked to think together with the company about what you as an organisation and as (future) project employee can do to make sure that projects will be succesfull.
